This free public workshop presented by Clerks on Call offers a clear, down-to-earth look at what it means to serve on Council. You’ll learn how municipal government works, what Council members actually do, and what to expect if you decide to run, including time commitments, campaign rules, public expectations, and the realities of being in the public eye.

May 28th - MMAH Candidate & Third-Party Advertiser Session
This free session presented by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) will provide attendees with an overview of the Municipal Elections Act, campaign rules and election finances, third-party advertising rules, key dates and outlines various roles/responsibilities of elected officials and municipal staff.
This session will be provided in person as well as livestreamed on the Township of Clearview’s YouTube channel. The video will also be available for viewing after the session.
